Med-aCar is a program designed to bring medical care to the patient located in a village instead of the other way around. It replaces constructing an expensive medical outlet infrastructure with mobile Primary Medical Care vehicles. Med-aCars are driven and managed by trained registered nurses. The first pilot was started on Feb 1,2017 in a Nigerian village near Owerri, named Uratta. It is being linked to the long existing Holy Rosary Hospital system in Emekuku.
